The O-Seal Pipe Thread Connector combines traditional pipe threading with an O-ring for enhanced sealing. It features tapered pipe threads (such as NPT ) that create a mechanical seal by wedging tightly into the female-threaded component. The taper ensures that the threads compress against each other to form a tight seal. Additionally, an O-ring is incorporated into the design, providing an extra sealing mechanism. When the connector is tightened, the O-ring is compressed between the connector and the mating surface, enhancing the seal and preventing leaks.
